Malt Loaf for Weight Loss: Is Malt Loaf Good for Weight Loss?

In my profession as a personal trainer, I’m often asked about the impact different foods can have on weight loss.

Today I am answering the question is malt loaf good for weight loss?

Malt Loaf has a high number of calories which makes it a not so great choice if you’re trying to lose weight. In every 100 grams of malt loaf, there are 302 calories, equivalent to the energy burned in a 25-minute run for an average person, or the same as a Mars bar.

That being said, Malt Loaf is a more nutritious choice than a chocolate bar due to its better quality of nutrients.

Also remember that weight loss occurs from burning more calories than you consume consistently and not magical foods that miraculously cause weight loss by themselves.

Therefore it is possible to lose weight with malt loaf as part of your diet, as long as you are consistently burning more calories than you are consuming.

Without further ado, let’s take a deeper look at malt loaf and any potential health benefits it may have.
